Well the exhaust tips on my Z were faded gray when I got the car and I haven't figured out how to restore them to being black. I already had some Mother's back to black and that didnt last... they'r gray again. Any ideas of products that could solve my problem?

Wet or dry sand.
Wipe down with a degreaser.
Prime coat
Any good outdoor black ( flat or gloss depending on desire) spray paint.
Just like new.

 

Flat black BBQ grill spray paint works good too
