removing welded subframe connectors

I assume removing welded subframe connectors to drop the engine subframe for major engine work is a mess. Does it ruin the connectors to have them cut off? What about other problems. Should I go with bolt-on connectors? Please advise.

You shouldn't have to remove the subframe connectors to drop the K-Member
