What is the exhaust and compressor a/r for this turbo?

Is the 62-1 much different? What are the specs on that turbo?

I am looking for 450-500 HP out of a 355.

That was the first place I looked :( This is as useful as it gets:

Available with either the standard (4” inlet, 2.5” discharge) compressor housing or the 60-1 Hi-Fi ( 2 3/4” inlet, 2” discharge) compressor housing, the 60-1 will outflow any standard T04B with ease! (The 60-1 Hi-Fi will deliver approximately 90-95% of the flow capacity of the standard 60-1.)

how good are your heads and how much boost do you plan to run?

you could probably get away with a T04b h-trim turbo which is a 58mm turbo....maxes out right around 550hp or so. Would spool like mad too

My suggestion is to use a 60-1. If you have room, go with the larger compressor housing version (4, 2.5). The hi-fi is just sticking the 60 wheel in a smaller housing for space reasons...it cuts down the airflow about 15%

The 62-1 uses the same compressor housing as the 60-1, just a larger wheel. After that i *believe* you get into the T series housings that are .70a/r on the compressor side are are a tad bigger than the 60a/r compressor housings

hope that clears some things up :)

The heads I am planning on using are the Sportsman II's. I don't think I will ever go over 10#'s.

I was leaning more towards the 60-1 myself, but I would rather "under run" a turbo than over spool.

The 60-1 comes with the LT1 kit correct? Do many people upgrade from that turbo?

Here is a link showing comparisons for different turbo sizing etc.. Most of these are used on the Supra's but it's still good info when comparing compressors/turbine sizes.

Hope that helps,
