Any ideas on an aftermarket shifter/linkage? Want something better/quicker/cooler anyone do this swap? The car is an LS1 6 speed car.

Thanks,

First off, welcome to the site.

2nd - there is a "search" function, use it; you can find out anything you want to know about your car. I say this because this topic gets asked once a week and there are 100's if not 1000's of threads on M6 shifters.

3rd - The most suggested shifter is the Pro 5.0 with either it's stick cut down (which it's designed for); or to use a Lou's Short Stick with the 5.0 (IMO not worth the $$ when the supplied stick can be cut to whatever length you want).

I had a Hurst Comp+, and then a Pro 5.0 when the car was still an M6. Pro 5.0 was definitely better than the Hurst.
