Biggest tire zr1's

I have a set of replica zr1's. 9.5" front and rear. Currently have 275/40's front and rear. Was wondering whats the biggest/widest tire size i can run in the rear witout rubbing on a 4th gen f body also witout it looking completely redicilious(sp?). I'm trying to get the it to look a little more "agressive" looking from behind.

I had 315/35/17 on mine without any issues. They looked fantastic without the look of bulging tires.

The sort of skinny Nitto 315/35-17 Drag Radials seem to work on the 9.5" wide wheels, but any other 315 I've ever seen looks really scrunched on a 9.5" wheel. Consider putting the tire on the left on the wheel inside the on the right.... somethin's gotta give:

My buddy ran 305's on ZR1's and they looked fine and functioned fine. No rubbing.

305/?. what was the size?

anyone know where i can order a 305 series tires. Tire rack, discounttire say they dont have it.

Anyone? Called a few local tire places and no one had listings for a 305 on a 17in rim

I've never seen a 305/xx-17.... maybe its a competition or drag tire???????

^Your guess is as good as mine. Guess ill stick with 275 or 285

the 305 was a 16" tire discontinued long ago.
