I was doing some research and was trying to compare the two. the BBK SSI intake manifold vs: FAST LSX Manifold... First i Compared the price
BBK- $470
BBK 85mm TB-$300
$770
FAST LSX-$880
FAST LSX 92mm TB-$380
$1260
Then i was reading a dyno book and the gains were just about even... has anybody had any experience with either of these... Im looking to try and save money if possible.. any suggestions or input? Thanks

The BBK is a complete waste of money, in all applications. You should go with the LS6 intake. It will cost much less and make more power. It won't have any sealing issues either.
You don't need nitrous provisions in the intake for anything close to what you're going to do with it.

so what makes the BBK such a waste of money... Ive heard alot of good things about the LSX but very pricey.. if anyone has dyno sheets or could explain a little bit more on why changing the Manifold is good..

It's an aluminum heat sink making it harder to get consistant power that doesn't make any more power than an LS6 intake which can be had for the same money or less used.

so the aluminum would absorb heat. does it matter whether i put a new cam in first or put a new manifold & TB on it.i eventually plan on putting a new cam in also would it be best to get the FAST LSX.

Generally:
LS6 intake from stock all the way up to cam-swap.
You don't need the FAST unit until you go heads/cam.
I made 514rwhp through an LS6 intake with a P1SC blower and a 212/218 cam in my 97 auto C5.

Remove the EGR and AIR system and block it off.

So if i were to go with the LS6 would i be able to run NOS with no problems... what size TB would you recommend putting on it... Also where would be the best place to get a LS6 manifold for a cheap price but in very good condition or new if possible. I really appreciate all of the help..

Run the stock TB or port your own stock TB...It's pretty easy. That'll work with a cam-swap as well.
Of if you absolutely need one, a ported Stock TB for $59 from here:

LS6 intake from Camaroz28.com or LS1Tech.com For Sale section. Used for around $300.
