I have a 2002 z28 and I change my oil every 3000 with mobile 1. Recently a Cange Oil light came on, on my dash, it lights up when i start the car and stays on for a few minutes. Is there and anyway to turn it off and am I going to have to do it again in 3000 miles? I hate GM, I know when to change my freaking oil.

 

Turn the key to the run position, push in and hold the tripometer button for about 5 seconds. The Oil light should come on and blink twice, when it's done blinking let go, this resets it. I do it after every oil change.

 

On my 2000, you have to hold down the reset button for 11 seconds.
