Is It CA CARB Legal To Swap To LSx?
When this engine goes out I was thinking I'd like to switch to LSx (I might push it out with a supercharger 
. I live in California with it's CARB so I'm worried it's not smog legal to do so. Anyone know if CARB allows an LT1 to LSx swap? I mean I always thought they allowed any engine swap where the engine has higher emission standards.

This might help. Looks like you still have to have a referee station certify it after the swap.
