I bought the changer, but of course it doesn't come with the wire, so i need the harness cable, and if anyone that has one laying around, or that doesn't use the one that came prewired in thier car, and would be sooo soo kind as to take it out and sell it to me, i'm interested. Somebody in here has to want to make a quick buck or two..

You can get a harness from Radios & More (http://www.radiosandmore.com) for about $40.

..and i think its outragiously priced for a 15' wire, and that price doesn't even include shipping. But it worse comes to worse, i'll have to buy it from them.

I think it's your best bet. Do you have any idea how hard it would be to remove the factory harness? It's routed thru the car before the interior is even installed. And it's bundled up with a bunch of other harnesses that run thru the car.

General Motors Engineering sucks. Why did they have to start doing everything decent in 1997. My car is a 96' and it deserves just as good of treatment as the newer ones... 97's got the good console, the digital odometer, prewired cd changers, all the good stuff.
