Putting an LT1 Back into my car. When I removed my old LT1 (thinking I was going to go witha big block drag race setup) I Cut the lines directly behind the metal fittings that lead into the fuel rails. IS there a way for me to re connect those lines when my new motor comes by way of adapters of some sort? I would really pray that I dont have to replace the lines. Theres gotta be a way.
Thanks
Chris

I gutted all the gm stuff except for the fuel tank return line. All 1/2" alum, 3/8" socketless hose, and, some 1/2" steel brade hose. Modded the fuel rails for -an fittings. The stock stuff is not made for Perf modding (in my opinion). Oh yes... my app. --> 97ss 383ci D1 MM6 Moser 12 w/ twin 255 Walbro intank.

Thanks
I think I might try and use some compressor fittings. With female openings on both ends. And try and mate it that way. Might be better than finding a hose with c-clamps

Not clear what you cut... did you cut the metal hard lines, past the quick connects, or did you cut the plastic lines before the quick connects? What part of the plastic fuel line bundle is still there, if any?

Fred,
I cut them right behind the metal part.

Still not clear whether you cut the METAL lines or the PLASTIC lines.

Fred,
I cut the plastic just before the metal

Then just buy a new fuel line bundle. I would not try and repair the plastic lines. Or cut the connectors off the hard lines, get some 3/8" and 5/16" compression fittings, and run -6AN braided SS lines from the hard lines under the rocker panel to the hard lines at the rails.
