I want to replace all the speakers in my car. what are the best speakers to get? I mainly want good quality at a decent price, but I want to be able to turn them up. I need four 6 3/4 for the front doors and back seat. In the rear, is it best to get 2 6x9s or just stay with two 4". Thanks

It's best to trash them altogether..... honestly. They ruin your soundstage. What is your price range for the four 6 3/4" speakers? Are you going or want to use an amp to power them?

buy some CDT audio, they sound great
And, if you get them @ thezeb.com , you get the rear fill set for free.... use only 4 speakers, not 6

i have JL Audio 6 3/4 XR components in the front and 6 3/4 XR coaxils in the rear pushing them with a JL Audio 300/4 amp. I love these speakers, but i got them at a great deal (know the owner of the shop). they really are not all that expensive but can play very, very clean and loud too. easily hear them over my 2 12 JL W3 w/ a JL 500/1 pushing them. Highly recommended. also like Polk, MB Quart, Infinity, Focal(expensive), and eclipse

i have a boston rally 6.5 component set in the rear that sounds awesome.
i have mb quartz dsd 615 component set in the front that sounds week.
i like quartz they just ain't sounding good in the doors.
I recommend the Polk Audio GXRs. Sound great, very clean and can get quite loud.
