2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Looks pretty good. It is going to need smaller for fuel efficient engine if it is going to compete with the Ford Edge and Chevy Equinox though. I really think that 30mpg hwy rating is going to move a lot of Equinox's.

Exterior does not look remarkably different. It is nice looking, but really just blends in with what's already out there.

The interior looks a LOT nicer though, and supposedly they have used better materials as well. So a big thumbs up for this!

IMO the exterior is actually a step BACK in styling. Very bland exteriors keep many potential buyers from ever seeing a nicer interior.

I think it looks pretty good.

Edit: Just saw this.

Still, it's no gas sipper. A 2009 Toyota Camry, by contrast, gets 26 mpg and would cost the same driver $785 per year in gas.
Yeah, well, a Cherokee and a Camry aren't exactly comparable vehicles, now are they?

I don't know what the old interior looked like, so I can't comment on whether it's improved, but I don't like the look of the new one very much.

The exterior styling is okay by me, but not a home run or anything.

To sum up: yet another mediocre vehicle from the House of Chrysler.

Much nicer than the interior of my '06. I like it.

Interior looks very nice. The front end looks a little wimpy, but the overall exterior looks good to me. It doesn't look as sharp as the Equinox (not that they are quite direct competitors), but it looks better than the GMC Terrain.

To those who don't like the new GC: you must be crazy.
Have you seen the current GC? This thing is light years ahead of it, inside & out.
I have a LOT of seat time in the current GC and I can tell just from the pics that this is way better.

I'm SO glad they didn't use that boxy, chunky, slab sided design theme from the Commander, Liberty, and Patriot on the new GC.
It looks smooth & lithe. Very classy.

I like it, still has some classic Jeep lines to keep it from looking like every other crossover without being too boxy. It will sell reasonably well considering no one is buying any vehicles due to job losses and reduced incomes like myself.

I like it a lot, and plan to sell a ton of them when the market comes back Just sold my father-in-law a loaded '09 Laredo he's very happy with...I imagine this new one will be significantly more impressive even.

I don't care for the styling much but I'm sure it'll grow on me. The adjustable suspension seems like a badass deal if it's reliable. I'm sad they got rid of the 4.7L though, I'd hate to pay the Limited premium to be able to tow stuff.

Something tells me the new 280hp V6 will be able to tow as much as your 235hp Laredo

Maybe the Hemi will be available in Laredos for a change? Who knows...
