Please read the post "stickied" at the top of the "LT1 Based Engine" forum, regarding bumping posts to the top. Wait at least 24-hours before doing so.

Have you "searched"? I know this topic was covered in the past 2 months, because I remember posting the differences between the tach driver on the 93 (from the coil, via a filter) and the 94 (from the PCM).

OK so whatever.... and we have posted a guideline that asks that you NOT push your posts to the top more than once every 24-hours.

If you have a problem with the actions of a moderator, take it up in a PM. Arguing in threads is not really welcome either.

For what it's worth, my '93 had a '94 cluster in it when I got it. Everything except the tachometer worked. The tachometer needle just bounced between 0 and 1000 RPMS sporadically. Injuneer has cited the reason for the lack of tachometer function in post #4. You'll definitely find more information on the issue if you do a search.

In the end, I did the exact opposite of what you're proposing. The white gauge cluster looked very out of place with every other yellow-ish indicator in the car, so I replaced it with the '93 specific yellow one.
