I needed a trim piece for an older Clarion CD HU I had. I just went to my local Circuit City, told them what I was looking for, and they pulled out a whole box full of trim pieces and told me to find what I needed and I could have it.

A lot of installs don't use the trim piece and shops just keep them laying around just in case. Just drop in on your local shop or chain store and just ask. Most will just let you have one.

I thought that trim pieces came with aftermarket installation kits? That has been my experience, at least.

Nope did not come with it, none of the shops around here had it! or any spares?! So I have decided to make one out of Al. with my rotozip.

If you need one that bad, I have the one that I took off when I installed a neon ring around my HU.....

Where you get the neon one? How much for your old one?

I got the neon one at Wal-Mart....lol. You can have the old one for free if ya want it. It's just sitting in my car right now. It tends to fall off sometimes, just to let you know.
