Loud noise from front end while using brakes turning ...

All,
I am getting a loud noise from the front end of my 2002 Z28 when I use the brakes during a turn. I can't recall it happening at speeds less than 25 MPH. It happens whether I turn left or right.

I would think it has something to do with the brakes, however they are quiet all other times. All help is appreciated.

Describe the noise - thump, bang, screech, squeal, groan, chatter, etc. When the noise happens, can you pick up any change in the feel of the steering - vibration, pull, etc?

Kind of a groan. There is no noticable difference in the car's steering, no vibrations, no pulling.

check your lug nuts.

i had a similar issue recently on one side. turns out the lug nuts were only about 2ft-lbs over finger tight
