This is just a wild guess on my part, but GM has many way more exotic truck engines they could have used than a supercharged 6.0L (500hp 496cid anyone?). Since the ultra fast truck wars seem headed for the 500 range...wouldn't it be interesting to see this turn up in a Silverado SS? You know GM never shows thier full hand the first year they release something. This is pure speculation on my part...but it seems kinda abvious.

 

Boy I hope your right....I can't wish for a better surprise for the truck lineup/ The lightning concept with that new boost feature seems like it will haul butt. I cowered in shame when all the guys were talking about it and asked where chevy's precious "ss" was and to be honest I didn't have anything to say but let's see what happens, GM has dropped the ball too many times for me to have faith in them...
