Cool

To those that are interested , the cc306 is a "GOOD"cam , it has excelent street potential !! Tony ran it for a long time and He has a bad *** car !!! If I had an lt1 , I'd buy it !!! As a cam expert , it's a VERY good choice !!! Ed ( Just my 2cents )

is it on a 112, or a 114? Also, do you know how much you can mill your heads and still run a 306 without worrying about clearance issues? I may be getting one, but I need to make sure that I will be able to get a certain amount of compression. Please let me know if you have an idea. Thanks

Oops.. It's on a 112. My heads are milled and have 51cc chambers. Running a zero deck w/ flat top pistons. ~12:1 compression... No problems for me!

Thanks man, that is pretty helpful. Do you know how many thousanths they took off to get 51cc though? .030? my heads have had a decent amount of material taken out of the combustion chamber, and I am going to still try to get at least decent compression out of them. Any more info would be more than helpful. Thanks again.

 I'm not sure how much was taken off... the bowls were smoothed, then decked to 52mm.. I broke a piston earlier this year and had to pull the heads and get them decked just slightly to smooth them back out.. I think this last time they took off .004. But I can't really say how much has been taken off w/ out feeling like I'd be lying to ya.

Was that 12:1 compression ratio with a .048" gasket or an .023"?

no gasket.. I used silly putty and construction paper.

Stock LT4 gasket - it's .039 I think?
