Super clean mint red 1G DSM AWD/5sp Eagle Talon TSI in Connecticut - Connecticut

This sucks. I just got this car less than a month ago, and about two weeks later I lost my job. I'm not hurting for money, but this car was purchased with the last of my play money.. So, I don't really NEED to sell it, but I probably should because it'd be the "right" thing to do! hahahaa

I know some of you guys are interested in these cars - this is about as good of an example of an un-molested 1G as you're going to find..

If I can't get what I have in it, I'll just keep it.

It's a 1990 TSi AWD. It's got 135k on it. The car is BEAUTIFUL.

It has a FRESH REBUILT TRANS AND MOTOR IN IT! The car was built by a local DSM shop just for me. The trans and motor have less than 500 miles on them right now. I'm still breaking it all in. Just changed all the fluids over the weekend - MT90 in the trans, Mobil 1 in the xfer case, motor, and rear. The stock transfer case was leaking so I have put on a BRAND NEW MITSUBISHI transfer case.. It has about 100 miles on it right now, and does not leak a drop, and hopefully never will. That transfer case is worth over $600.

The trans shifts flawlessly in all gears, both upshifting and down. THe motor runs perfect.

As for mods - the only mods are prothane motor mounts, balance shafts removed, ACT 2600 clutch with street disk, walbro 255 pump, GR2 struts with an Eibach Pro kit (less than 5k on the suspension, I know the previous owner of the car) and the koneig rims. Because of the Prothane motor mounts, and no balance shafts, the car vibrates a bit under 2k RPM's. that is perfectly normal for a car with those motor mounts. Above 2K the car is smooth as silk.

I don't want to scare anyone - the vibration isn't horrible, just want to let you know.

The car needs absolutely NOTHING (well, it doesn't have a radio so it needs that!). It starts right up, and drives 100%. I have put about 500 miles on the car since I got it, and never a hiccup. It's getting 24mpg right now.

The paint on the car is shiny and clean. There are maybe two tiny door dings on the whole car - this is the cleanest 1G I have ever seen in my life. I know the previous owner, and it has been garaged it's whole life with him (more than 5 years) and it's been garaged since I got it. NO RUST under the hood - this car is ready for the mod fest.

Including purchase price, and all fluids and maint I've put into it, I'm at just a hair under $4,500 for the car. I'd like to get at least $4,100 for it as it is. I may go a bit lower if someone is serious and really wants this fine 1G

Again though - I don't NEED to sell this car. Low ballers will be ignored, and I'd soon enough just keep the car in my garage till I die. hahahaa

Someone give this car a good home and make it the 400hp monster that I planned on making it
