Would These Tires Fit on Front Wheels

I did look at the stickies and couldn't find exactly what I was looking for.

Can anyone tell me if these tires would fit on my front wheels?

275-35R18 or 275-40R18

On an 18x9 wheel with +50mm offset

Ride height is stock. I know they'll fit in the rears, but wondering about the front without any mods to the body. I need new tires, and times are tough now, so would like to get 4 matching tires so I can rotate them.

Thanks.

Both those tires will mount correctly on an 18 x 9" wheel. The 50mm offset works on the front. The 275/35 would be very slightly smaller than stock diameter (probably not noticable) and the 275/40 would be 1/2" - 1" larger than the stock diameter (depending whether your car left the factory with the 235/55-16 or the 245/50-16 tires), and would increase the chances of something rubbing, like the inner fender liners.

IMO, I would consider a 275/35/18 stock size. As far as height :yes

275/35/18 = 25.58" tall

275/40/17 = 25.66" tall

245/50/16 = 25.65" tall

As far as the 275/40/18s, my understanding is they will rub slightly on a stock height car on really sharp turns, or full lock.

Stock tire size depends.... the 4th Gen V8s (non-SS or -WS6) left the factory with two different tire sizes - base tires were 235/55-16 (26.1/.2"); optional Z-rated tires were 245/50-16 (25.7")
