I recently ran into some tranny problems with my t56, which lead to my brother and I replacing the input shaft and its bearings. Upon reinstallation it no longer wants to go into 2nd or 4th gear. Anyone have any thoughts on what we may have screwwed up? (The reason we did the work in the first place is that somehow the tranny lost all of its fluid while in storage, and got very hot when we drove it for the first time, the bearings on the input shaft were hardly recognizable after they broke apart.)
