Autozone "duralast" clutch kits...

are up to 229.00 now, there new flywheels are 79.00, i'm trying to see if they can sell me just the PP, they offer a reman. PP for 80.00, but its by another company & only has a 1yr. warr., so i'm leary of getting that one, i can get the Ram powergrip set for around 400.00, then 80.00 for a flywheel, i see the only real advantage of the Duralast is its lifetime warr., but if i went that route, it'll still be as much as the powergrip setup, 229.00 plus 175.00-200.00 for a disk is 400+ $$$, then 80.00 for a flywheel, don't really see the savings, i can get the AC Delco LT4 kit for 305.00 from a vender, but don't know how well those clutch disk are over the Duralast disk, has anyone ever used the AC-Delco LT4 kit??

Before buying an AutoZone clutch, ask who makes them??? Might by some unknown China brand....

IE: Carquest clutch kits are made by Sachs North America...

Funny you should mention this, i was told Sachs clutch kits are very good & meet or exceed OEM specs, look at what i found when i searched Sachs clutch kits, i called & they will give me a discount on that 291.00, to my door will be 283.92, the SHOCKER is it comes with a brand new flywheel too , the only drawback is it only has a 1yr. warr. vs. spending around 310.00 through Autozone for a lifetime warr. (with flywheel)
