1994 Caprice DCM w/ Grey Perfect for clone
The time has come to sell my car. It is a 131k mile 1994 Chevy Caprice with the 4.3 l99. I got this car specifically because it is Impala SS colors and would only need a couple changes to be a perfect clone. It is still a very solid car and great daily driver with well under average mileage. Despite having a powerfull V8 these cars do manage about 18-20 mpg in the city and 26 on the highway! In the last week or so I have done a tune up, replaced all of the steering linkage (center link, idler arm, inner and outter tie rods and adjusting sleeves). This is a common problem with these cars and it has all been checked and fixed on this one. I also checked the brakes and adjusted the rears (has about %70 on the front duralast pads and %80 on the rear shoes), flushed the coolant system and installed a new thermostat and an oil change. The a/c works great and heat does as well! The transmission shifts firm and solidly. The body is awesome on this car but does have a few door dings here and there as would any car of this age. Its biggest flaw is that the driver side door panel is cracked. So whether you are looking for a super reliable comfortable daily driver or to make an inexpensive fun impala ss this is the car for you. $2800obo
I do have a complete 110k mile LT1 drivetrain. Engine trans and drum diff with 2.93 posi. I want to keep the engine and trans as spares for my roadsmasher but if it will help the car sell I will sell them WITH it for $900
