I have the original iroc rims and I was wondering if anybody has used the BF Goodrich 255/50 r16 drag radial 2's on the iroc rims without any problems. Those or the Yokahama tires the same size without any problems.

 

well, i had salad shooters... those are 16x8 as well. and i had BFG's, and they fit just fine (255/50/16). you can probably fit up to a 275 on a 16x8, but there's no real reason to, you'll still hook pretty damn well with the BFG's.

 

I wouldn't expect any "problems" with that size tire on a 16x8" wheel. Its the recommended combination by both BFG and Yoko: 7" - 9" width, with the tire "measured" on an 8" wide wheel. Meaning that's the size wheel it was designed for.
