Grant steering wheel wont fit right?
Probably be a bit easier to help you if you included some info about your car - year, model, etc.
I'll ASSume that you have a 4th Gen, and used the Grant 3rd Gen install kit. When I did that, the bottom of the metal flange for the Grant wheel rubbed on the top of the steering column cover. I sanded the bottom of the Grant metal flange down a bit. You will also notice that the 4th Gen steering column cover is slightly larger in diameter than the Grant parts, so you need to put some paint on the visible end of the steering column cover so the gap isn't so noticable.
Now, if you have something other than a 4th Gen, all bets are off. Why not add a "signature", with basic info about your car - year, model, engine, trans and any major mods. That way when you ask a question, people can provide an accurate answer.

Mine just took light sanding of the bottom of the metal "bell" on the base of the Grant filler piece. Its still close to the top of the column, but doesn't rub. Might also look at shimming the Grant mounting plate a bit.
