I'm considering getting a harness bar but I don't know what to look for. I know that I will have to cut the rear panels to install it but what else is required?
Can I get one that is easily removed? No one rides in my back seat but I would like one that can be pulled out in under 5 mins, maybe it would work like a trailer hitch pin.
I just want it for lapping sessions at the road course and the autox.

 

Actually you don't have to cut the rear panels; they go through where the stock rear seat belts go. Putting it in and taking it out is pretty easy, but takes considerably longer than 5 minutes.

I have a Groves bar (the first link) but if I were buying today I would get the LG bar because it is powder coated. I bought mine before LG started selling them.

 

I have the LG bar and like Chuck said... no cutting required. It just bolts in place of your rear seat belts.

I would say it takes about 15 minutes to take it in and out. I used to remove my often.
