Cam was speced out by an engine builder.....they rec it installed on a 108 icl.
Comp told the person with the engine it needs to be on a 106 not a 108.
So I have a ford motorsport timing set to work with with the extra crank keyways...
straight up 114 icl
+2 108 icl
+4 105.5
+8 99
So should I go with the 108? Piston to valve clearance is
In. .125
Ex. .151
That is with no head gasket so I have a mile with a .040 gasket.
What do you think? Guy wants to bring the RPM down some
specs are 26x/268x @ .050 .698/698 112

How much PTV do you have with it at 106? Why does the RPM need to come down? Does it not make power that high or what? also what is your peak hp rpm and at what ICL was that with? Have you dynoed with that cam yet on a 114? Damn thats alot of questions haha.

Its a 347......the bottom end was done.
The heads are trick flow 340@ .700
The owner decides to change the cam before it put together.....he orders a custom grind. But wants to keep the rpm lower to #1 drive it in a street shootout(have to drive 30 miles) #2 he thinks the block might split in half if he turns it more than 6500
Has not been completed...P to V was plenty at all time without a gasket so I have planty.

The stroker fords do well with a little bit of cam advance - follow the advice from the guy that spec'd it.
