Ok so I was thinking of doing a turbo on my ls1 camaro and then once I read up on that **** I relised I really dont know enough to do a turbo set up. I am now thinking of doing a procharger because people have been saying its just a better way for me to go. I am trying to figure out if they are alot easier to run and all that fun stuff, or if a hp performance turbo kit is still a better way to go. I am wondering what you think a ls1 with full bolt ons running 7 psi would make to the wheels and will a turbo setup make more power for me because its not taking any power to make power. I really just need some help with this **** because I am totally lost with it. I was just thinking that if I do turbo or procharger I could take it off and sell it seperate if I ever had to sell the car. I would also like to know if everyone thinks I should just stay all motor (the stuff I know) and do heads and cam instead. Any help at this point would be great. Thank you very much

It all depends. Do you have a budget or is the sky the limit? I think that will dictate what kind of feedback you get for this question.

Well the sky is not the limit, but I know that procharger kits are about 6000 and heads and cam would be about 4500 and I avfe found one or two turbo kits for right around 6000. So ya I really am just trying to figure out what will give me the most power for the money, but if I can get just as much out of a supercharger or turbo it would be nice because then I would be able to sell that seperate from the car. Honestly I am just a lost boy trying to make some serious power hahaha. Thanks and hope that helps out somemore

For your situation, a supercharger would probably be a better bet over a turbo. They are much less complicated, and will make great power.
But, with a proper heads/cam set-up and supporting mods, you could probably make the same power that a supercharger would make at around 7 psi.
A supercharger would give you more overall potential though becuase you could always raise the boost, where as with a head/cam set-up you would be hitting the top of your potential. But, on the stock bottom end, you will not be able to raise the boost much anyways...

is $4500 a installed price? I think you can do good set of heads and cam for 2500 to 3000 if you diy.
