If installing longtubes / y-pipe do you still need Loudmouth install kit?

I have a 97 and the setup I'm looking at are Pacesetter long tubes (no emissions on them) to a pacesetter y-pipe and out through a SLP Loudmouth. Do I still need to get an install kit? I know the difference in stock 93-95 and 96-97 exhaust exits after the cat and why you would need one for stock manifold / cat applications, but what about with longtubes and a y-pipe?

Yes, you still need it. The 96-97 install kit is just different hangers, and you need them since the LM setup is for 98+ cars.

Ok, that's what I was wondering. Thanks!
