4l60e lt1 vs ls1?

can i swap an lt1 4l60e into an ls1 car with a blown 4l60e?

I think the bell housings and tail shafts are different, I'm not too sure tho. I'm sure someone else can confirm this or not.

The engines do not share transmission mounting patterns. It will not bolt up.
