As some of you know, I'm trying to build a real monster out of my T/A. Heres my build:

1994 Firebird Trans Am GT
SRP -24cc pistons .030 over
Eagle H Beams - 6"
GM Forged Crank - 3.48
Clevite H rod/main bearings
2 bolt mains
CC305 - 220/230 .510/.510 with 1.5RR 114 LSA
Harland Sharp 1.6 RR's NSA
Iron Heads from Impala (58-60cc with valves)
RealQuick's hotparts - Ported Cast manifold setup - T76GTS
Ford 9" with spool
17" ZR1's with 275/40/17 ET Streets
Stock T56 (will build if breaks)
Spec 3 clutch
Felpro gaskets (Head gasket 0.039)
E-cutout with magnaflow catback (no cat)
60# injectors

With the felpro head gasket, 58cc heads, -24cc pistons and decked alittle bit (down to 0.015), i'm looking at 8.7:1~ compression.

Is it possible to pull 700rwhp from this setup? I'll probably get a meth. kit too if thats too high for pump gas.

If theres any other info you guys need, I'll be happy to provide it. :D

i would get those aluminum heads on if i were you
how much boost are you going to run?

I did a lot of research on iron VS aluminum and iron will make more power because they hold heat better, they'll just be heavier. They also flow better then stock aluminum. I'll get LE heads later on my 94 aluminum heads, this is just for now.

Boost wise, I'm not too worried about how high I go. I'd say 18 would be the highest I'd like to go. Whatever will put me over the 700 barrier would be nice.

well, 700 is a pretty high barrier. Try 14/15 and see what it does for ya.

Did you stud the bottom end? I would take it easy to start. remember those SRP's dont like detonation...

I have all the parts, but the build won't go exactly into play for a few weeks. Stud bolts for the main caps is what your asking i think? I'll look into those.

I plan to tune it on a 2bar SD tune, going to run it with no spring in the wastegate to keep the boost really low while I try and get the tune perfect.

if that won't keep boost stable, my next lowest boost is 8-9~. i'm going to get a PCMforless tune for MAF to break the motor in though.
