One wheel peel...broken/worn LSD?
One wheel peel...broken/worn LSD?
Whenever I do a burnout, it will only leave 1 patch from my passenger side tire. Never from both and NEVER EVER from the driver side. Is the stock LSD worn out? If I jack up the rear and rotate a tire, both spin, but on the street it's obvious that isn't working. I understand how LSDs operate.
Now, the passenger rear spring was cut months ago to accomodate a body lean I had from when the original stock Kmember was badly bent by the previous owner. Basically to have the car sit level. The kmember was replaced but the rear spring wasn't. The car still sits level today so I never felt like replacing something that wasn't "Broken". Could a cut spring on the passenger side cause a one-wheel-peel to happen? More traction due to more weight being put on a weaker spring?

when you jack up the car and spin one tire, the other is spinning in the same direction correct? if its spinning backwards it means you just dont have a posi.
it sounds like a worn out limited slip to me, how many miles you got on your car? thats prob. the problem
