Question 3rd Gen. Austrailian rear end

Does anyone know anything about these rears? One person is telling me that they are junk. One person told me he has never heard of one breaking with a stock motor. My car has about 290 hp, do you think it will last??? This rear came out of a Formula 400. I was told there are three rears for my 1988 Iroc: Dana 44, Ten Bolt and the Nine Bolt Austrailtan.

I have heard they were pretty good, but I have never had one, I would say try and use it for a while, but also save up for a replacement as well...
