Will the clutch hose drill mod work for LT1s?

I'm getting ready to do this, because it was recommended to me in another thread related to my short clutch life. However, in researching further, I found comments that make me wonder if the mod even works for LT1s. Some say it is for LS1s only. I also read that LT1s do have the restrictions in both ends of the line, but that only the master end can be drilled out, and the slave end is impossible to drill because it has a 90* fitting. Is this correct? If so, will drilling only one out help?

If you have experience with this on an LT1 I would appreciate your input. Before I jack the car up and tear the hydraulics out, please tell me if I will be wasting my time.

Thanks.
