I have finally started on my dream of owning a Supercharged 383 LT1. I have contacted board vedors and have almost narrowed down my parts for the Long block. Would you guys/gals please look over what I have so far and let me know if I need to upgrade, down grade, or do something totally different. If I have forgotten anything please throw that in also.
My goal: 550-600RWHP. I want to be able to drive the car on short trips of 100 miles or less and not be in fear of the car breaking down. This will be a weekend vehicle with Occasional trip to the track. I want to do it right the first time and not have to work on the car everytime I get it out of the driveway.
I currently have a MSD digital 6+. Can this ignition be used or do I need to go with another.
Other than tuning, tranny and exhaust, what else am I missing for a dependable, streetable Lt1? Thanks!:)
