Hey guys, i never really post on here, i usually just use the search feature but i was wondering if i could get your opinions. I'm restoring my 67 Camaro and got a good deal on a strong LT1/6 speed, and i have an intercooled Procharger D-1SC for the setup. Procharger says i can safely run 10# on the stock bottom, and i was wondering how i can get in the 11's with my setup. What kind of head work/cam/intake porting/injectors should i run to achieve my goal? I think they say my car is about 3400 pounds with driver (not sure though). Thanks in advance!

I would have to say yes. With a good tune and suspension setup 11's should not be a problem. You car is kinda light and boosted LT1s are pretty nasty.

As far as #10 being safe that my depend on you and the tune. How often are ya gonna beat on it? lol.. How many miles does that LT1 have? I know a few people who added a supercharger to a perfectly good running LT1 only to have it blow up a few weeks after.

I made 450 whp with my stock lt1, d1sc twin highflow setup on 8#'s. I ran a leak down on the motor about a year after the blower was put on, and 2 cylinders had low compression. If I were you id run it at 7 psi with a conservative tune, get you some slicks and you should be able to run 11's.
