Tire dressing pics (Armor All vs Zaino)

I've long disliked tire foam cleaners. Too greasy, too fake, too plastic like.

I've been a Zaino product user for years. Decided to try out and compare their tire dressing.

The side with the "Goodyear" logo is Armor All. Put on aprox 20 minutes before the photos were taken.
The side with the "Eagle GS-C" logo is Zaino. Put on aprox 15 minutes before the photos were taken.

I left a small section in the center of the tire between the Armor All and Zaino, untreated.

The last photos are of my pinky fingers after wiping each dressing once. (Left = Armor All, Right = Zaino)

Zaino Z16 is my favorite dressing. Adam's VRT and Meguiar's Natural Shine are also quite nice...a little more matte.

Great thread and documentation, I will be ordering some very soon. Currently I am using 303 but I have always wanted to try the Z16.

Z16 is the best, hands down; best appearance, best durability, best ease of use.

Kinda off topic but the most I hate about tire shine is the second you hit any dirt, it sticks to your tires until you wash it again.

The only problem i have with some of the tire dressings is the side of my firehawk wideovals have a lot of little tiny depressions in them. The dressing pools in here and i have to go wipe down my rims and wheel wells after i drive for the first time after putting dressing on them. The dressing just pools and flies out when i start driving.

Can any of you say the Z16 sticks to the tires really good? I have used an okay generic brand of shine, and the same day I take off in the car i notice the stuff kind of mists behind the tires under the Z28 emblem, or does that always happen? looking forward to getting some of that Zaino.

As far as cleaning the tires before applying the shine, none of the foams really work well. I always use a powerful degreaser. I used to use Simple Green Automotive degreaser but can't find it, now I use Purple Power degreaser. It works pretty much instantly and you can see the dirt come off. I prefer to use a degreaser that you have to hold your breath around or use a respirator, that means it works.

Love the GTA....more pics somewhere?

+1 for Zaino Z-16 Tire Dressing

It's actually liquid and just rubs on with a rag, and if you get a little too much pooled up in one spot just rub a little more (Hehehe He Said Rub)

Also doesn't seem to pick up much dirt as it dries it's not even damp

Also not a Super Shiney look, just more like a new tire appearance

Shine seems to fade after about a week or so....

Z16 is definitly the best, no question about it. Once i switched to it i never looked back. It doesnt spin off at all, which annoyed me about every other tire shine ive tried.
