Cutting siphon tube from bottle valve?

I just got an NX dry kit for my bike. Bike or car, I'm sure it's all relative...

The tech support guy at Nitrous Express told me to cut the tube off the valve flush. "Dry kit doesn't matter, and you're spraying through the air filter anyway..."

Can someone explain this since I don't understand why you'd want to take that siphon tube out....

I have no idea. But thats usually me. Does it have anything to do with how the bottle will be mounted. As in upside-down?

I asked him that, and told him my bottle will be mounted parallel w/ the ground, but he said it didn't matter.

if you are mounting the bottle parallel ...face the valve to the rear w/no siphon tube...under accelleration the liquid will be kept at the valve by the G-forces.

id still keep a syphon tube in there unless your planning on mounting the bottle upside down. cutting the tube down is realy easy fyi, just need a tubing cutter and take your time. also if you want to remove it it should just screw onto the valve, or atlest mine did.

The tube is epoxied into the bottle valve.
