I thought the Baro air pressure would stay the same.
My baro air pressure on my Freescan will stay at .094 and change to 1.04 and then down to 0.97. Is this normal? This is over a 2 minute datalog i did.
I picked up a new connector from the dealer for $20 so we will see if it makes any difference. I noticed the sensor seal when i pulled the map off so i picked one up for $3 also. The instructions say to use oil before installing. Would have not done that but its probably so it can be removed easily next time.
Well i went ahead and bought new AC delco parts. I work for the Chevy dealership so i got these at a good price. The new connector was $20, $3 for the orange washer and $40 for the Map sensor. My map reading would change everytime i made a datalog run. I did a new one with 4 seperate runs and it never changed. I also had the map higher than the baro and it didn't do it anymore. The washer was shot so maybe it was leaking but at least i can move forward and not worry these things were hurting my performace. My car ran a little better but didn't make any hugh differences.
