Is your engine internally or externally balanced?

if the motor is set up stock, externally balance 153 tooth flex plate. i got mine from jegs, was very reasonably priced. if you have had your motor built then you need to know if it is externally or internally balanced, then order accordingly

Why are you putting a TH400 behind a stock engine? It eats of power, weighs a lot, has a so-so 1st gear ratio (2.48) and no overdrive. I can personally attest to the annoyance of listening to the engine buzz along just under 4,000rpm, when the car is only going 70mph.

I put a RMVB with Tbrake TH400 and a Strange 12 bolt 4.10 with spool behind my stock LT1. It sure hasn't slown the car down. And I can beat the livin daylights out of it and not break drivetrain parts.
I went through 2 60Es and 2 10 bolts with the stock motor.

The revs really don't bother me anymore.....I am playing with the damn car all the time anyway.
