According to the destructions, once the floater plate is installed there shoud be between .020"-.025" between the floater and the disc. Well I have more like .045. What do I do to fix this?

i had the same thing happen when i put mine in their instructions are a little confusing b/c at the very top it says the unit is shipped ready to install and needs no adjusting... i ended up just putting it in b/c those little washers that go on the floater plate bolts are like .018" and taking one out made it too tight. doesn't have any issues disengages completely and grips hard sooo...

if you are really in doubt call them and make sure.
