whats size rims?and offset

whats size rims?and offset

i have been looking at vette rims but looks like they have differnt offsets unless someone know a set that dont.i am going to get 17 or 18's aftermarket but what offset and how wide do i need to get,does the rims have to have a different offset or if i get them the same will it stick out the same distance aways from car

usually the problems with using vette wheels is that the rear wheels have to high of an offset making them too tucked in. So they dont stick out at all. You can either do the BFH or get a small spacer. if you get a replica.. a 50mm-56mm(on a 9.5 in wheel)

The answers to your questions are in the "FAQ" stickied to the top of the Wheels and Tires forum topic listing. Look in particular at the second page, for the post that shows the recommended offset as a function of the wheel width.

so it looks like i can go with 18x10 with +56mm offset, 7.88" backspace,and 305/35-18 all the way around the car with no rubbing just have to trim some off bumpstop,does that sound right?
