ingnition cylinder

ingnition cylinder

How do u replace the ingnition cylinder in a 95 camaro z28. there are 4 screws on the back of the steering wheel do i take those out to get to the plates to take the steering wheel off i know i have to disconnect the battery and the airbag fuse i am just confused on how to use the steering wheel puller for the lock plate

You cant, you need a lock plate compressor. The plate has to be pushed down so yuo can get the c-clip out of there.

Just rent one.

steering wheel

Well i took my 4 bolts off in the back and got my air bag taken out i tried to put the steering wheel puller in and to find out the bolt holes were stripped ive been pulling and trying to get that steering wheel off all morning and no success has this happend to anyone else and also how the hell am i going to get my steering wheel off now please help me out
