Do I need or will I be benefitted by a wideband 02 sensor if I get a 100-150shot wet kit? (sorry for the dumb question, btw)

Any suggestions on which ones to go with and where to buy and how much they cost would be appreciated as well. Thanks!

Why not have a shop check your NA tune, and then they can also set you up with the right jets and timing for the juice too. It's not cheap, but I'd rather be safe then sorry. Do you have a way to retard timing?

In my opinion, any accurate way to monitor ones A/F ratio is a benifical thing. It is an great way to "view" what is going on inside your engine. Although you need to know when things aren't right and tune it or have it tuned to correct the condition(s).

Innovate among others make some great products for monitoring engine A/F ratio. Check this site out:

What I'm really asking is:will the PCM be able to more accurately calculate the AFR w/ a wideband sensor? This, unfortunatly, is a dd so I run in MAF closed loop.

A wideband will not change how your PCM make A/F adjustments...it is used for you to monitor how well the PCM is doing its job.
