What size Transmission Pan do I have? - A4Need4Camaro 08-18-2007, 10:08 AM At Advanced Auto for my 01 Z28, they tell me they have two different transmission filters for my car, one being for a deep pan and the other for a shallow pan - they say they're two completely different filters... Which one is mine? 12SCNDZ 08-18-2007, 10:46 AM All F-Bodies came with shallow pans. The deep pans are for truck/van applications. The F-Body doesn't have enough ground clearance for the deep pan. Frank CPT He did, and it displayed that it used two pans - and it wasn't just that store either... I had it looked up at a completely different one in another city just to make sure and they also displayed it used two different pans.. but I was thinking shallow too, just didn't want to pull it all apart to find I was wrong... n2ceptor 08-18-2007, 12:59 PM Just looked it up at Carquest, it shows shallow only....
