250 shot on a 355nforged bottom end
If you have a built bottom end which is what im reading, then you should be fine. Make sure you have your timing taken care of and A/F is safe. I would go with a smaller shot just to make sure everything is ok then work your way up to 250 by making smaller tuning adjustments. I started off at 50 shot not sayng that you should start off that low but just using that as an example. I was missing hard at 50, would rather miss at 50 shot then 150 and blow something. Finally after some dyno sessions A/F and custom tuning of my chip(retard timing) it came out ok, if you wanna be extra safe and not a bad idea at all, i would also run higher octane. So with your built motor you should be fine runing 250 but just make sure A/F and timing is up to par, the rest i would assume you already know meaning colder plugs, steady fuel pressure, built A4 tranny or good clutch and so on...ill stop here mainly because its getting a bit long and several other things come to mind but im sure other guys on here that are waaayyyy more knowledgable will give you better advice my own opinion is just what ive gone through.
