Anybody know how to identify GM crate motors?

I know somebody that has a GM 350 crate motor for sale, but he's selling it for someone else and doesn't know how to identify what it really is. Do the crate motors have stampings to identify them?

www.mortec.com has updated their casting # lists to include up to 00-01 I think. Also get the engine ID # and the head casting #s. thats the only way to know what you are looking at.
