Pontiac/GMC at 16 1/2 mile and Gratiot Sunday, August 5th from noon to 6pm. That is during the Gratiot cruise (9am-9pm 14-16 mile). Also there will be a rock wall climb, free chair massage, live band, Doug 93.1 FM live feed and free food drink & ice cream tent. I havent seen the G8 (from Australia) in person yet, so I think I'll go check it out.

 

Cool! Thanks for the heads up. I'm not sure if I can make it but hopefully someone can post some good pictures of the G8. I just hope it has the LS3 in it.

 

I read in AutoWeek that its based on the Holden Commodore SS and is a rear wheel drive 4 door sedan and available with a V6 or 363hp V8, 6 speed stick or auto. I think GM is saving the 430hp LS3 for the upcoming Pontiac GTO, a sister car to the new Camaro.

 

I think the LS2 would be just fine for a daily commuter car. possibly have the LS3 as the upgraded GTP G8? man that would rule. Im goin to try to make it out to the cruise this year, def. want to see that G8 too.
