I have come across a trans out of a 95 chevy pickup. I do know it is a eletronic trans (say so on the window sticker from when it was new). But im got sure if it will work in my 94 z28. If there is anyone with any knowledge of this kind of swap let me know.

 

yes you can use this tranny you will need to use the tailshaft off of the original tranny

 

You will need to determine if its PWM or not yours cars is not, This does not mean it cant be used just will require some addition mods. It must be 2wd, And you may have to modify or cut the ears off the side as your car woud have used a 4 bot converter cover and trucks other than the 4.3 blazer woud use 6

 

I was thinking that i would need the tailshaft and the cove is no big deal i have all the tools i would ever need to mod the trans. The only thing i was really concerned about was the wiring plugs.

 

Look at the tranny today and it has 4 bolts holding in the flywheel cover. I have tok pictures of both and they look the same other than the tail shaft on the trucks is just a little longer than the cars. And where the gear cable hooks up is different (the trucks turns to the inside while the cars is on the outside.
