HELP my doors are locked!

Hey, I was working on the car a second ago and I had the keys in the ignition with the door shut and disconnected the battery and the damn doors locked on me.. Is there any way I can trip the power to make them unlock? btw the door isnt even shut fully its like half latched if that matters..

This is why i always roll down the windows of vehicles i work on.

Best thing i could recommend is to hook the battery back up and use a hanger through the gap of the window and top to push down and unlock the door or roll down the window.

There is way to unlock the door with a pocket screwdriver bent at 90* PM me and I'll tell you if you haven't got it unlocked yet.

seems like your at a garage somewhere, so take a hammer or something to pry with, pry the window at the t-top GENTLY.

Get something long and hard (hahahaha) and hit the unlock button.

TADA!!! That's what I did, after I punched the window in anger so hard I thought i had broke it. I was about 2-3 hours away from my house lol and getting a spare key would have been SLIGHTLY impractical.

Did you get the door open? Don't you have a spare key?

Cars come with two sets of keys. Why don't you have both? Even if I bought a used car and didn't get both sets, one of the first things I'd do is go have a second set made (or ordered, or whatever is appropriate for the type of car) so that I could avoid exactly the kind of problem you're having.

If you knew who Injuneer was, you wouldn't have responded to him with "lol calm down dude". And if you weren't replying to the post immediately above yours, you should have quoted the post that you were replying to.

Two years longer, but who's more active? I post more in a month than you do in a year. I don't even recognize your screen name.

Because injuneer is a moderator I have to follow guidelines to talk to him? Nothing I said was inappropriate. I also don't care how active you are. I pointed out my membership time as a reference to my knowledge of who the moderators are after being a member here for 4 years.
