I had a jasper transmission 4l60e installed in a 94 lt1 at the end of May. The transmission has been solid. I went over some really rough tracks yesterday and the tranny immediately started to make a weird sound like cards in the spoke of a bicycle and a bit of a vibration with a little drag. Almost like it wasn't completely in gear. I shut the car off and started it back up, same thing. I then put it in reverse for a few feet and back in drive and it went away and seem normal but I'm driving it like an old lady since this happened yesterday. Now I am hesitant to drive it. Should I take it back to the installer? I also had the rear end completely rebuilt in may.

 

I was just thinking. It sounded and felt the same, like when your stuck and your back wheels are still going and you try to put it in reverse or park and you get that sound like a rachet spinning.
